Phase 4 - This Week!

We are very much looking forward to begin our phase 4 schedule this week. You should have already received an email letting you know if your child’s schedule. These schedules have been explained in your child's history class. Your child  has already filled out their own personal schedules and teachers have made sure that every student understands where they need to be.  Please check the CMS Website for sample bell schedules and important information.  If you have any questions, take some time to read through our FAQ section.

Needless to say, all the educators at Central are very much looking forward to seeing our students on campus, learning in classrooms and socializing with friends.

Please remind your child to come to school with an extra mask, filled water bottle, and school supplies (pen, notebook).

Students should arrive at school between 8:30 and 8:40 for their Fever Free check with their 3rd period teacher; they should find their teacher's sign on the black top or in the courtyard and line up.

I have also included this article about student success.  I found it helpful to read, so I thought I would share.

Student and Community COVID19 Testing to Keep Our Kids on Campus

Please take advantage of the no cost surveillance COVID-19 testing provided by the San Mateo County Health Department.

Please sign up for weekly testing for yourself and your child. Contact your health provider for a test if you have symptoms or know you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.

Keeping COVID cases off of our campuses will keep our in person learning possible. As a reminder, if a student or or teacher tests positive for COVID, we will need to transition that cohort back to distance learning for at least two weeks to avoid spreading the virus.

Sign up at one of the following locations to begin your regular weekly testing:

Interested in Getting Involved in Central Arroyo's PTA Next Year?

We will vote at April’s PTA meeting on our slate of nominated officers(listed below) for next school year, 2021-2022.  As you can see there are several executive board positions we still need to fill.  If you are interested or you know a current or incoming parent who would help lead the PTA work of supporting our children’s learning, our teachers and building community please contact Kirsten Kell ([email protected]) to learn more.  It's a wonderful way to stay connected to Central/Arroyo teachers and staff, our kids' experience while at school, our school's needs, and even advocate across the district. You can get involved in other ways as well- a few minutes per week, month or year!
